Mental Disorders 537: Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders

Course Description & Objectives: This lecture/discussion course is designed to familiarize doctors and other health care workers with common issues related to psychological disorders and with appropriate responses by non-mental health professionals when working with clients with possible psychological disorders. This course will focus on Reactive Attachment Disorder, Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Acute Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder and other specified or unspecified trauma and stress related disorders.

Format: Online learning with audio and Power Point presenation.
