Course Objective: Cranial Nerve testing should be an integral part of the chiropractic examination. In this one hour course, the DC will learn testing procedures for the cranial nerves to assist in final diagnosis of possible sensory disturbances and identification of serious health issues. This presentation will include the following Cranial Nerves, including testing procedures for each: Olfactory, Optic, Oculomotor, Trochlear, Trigeminal, Abducens, Facial, Acoustic, Glossopharyngeal, Vagus, Spinal Accessory, Hypoglossal. In addition, the possible pathologies that may present with a lesion in the individual nerves will be included.
