The Sherman System of X-Ray Positioning: Cervical Spine

Course Description & Objectives: In this course, you will learn the Sherman system of x-ray positioning for the cervical spine. This will involve the four standard images most commonly taken, including the Neutral Lateral, A-P Open Mouth, Nasium and Base Posterior, as well as the four most commonly taken specialty images being the A-P Lower Cervical, Anterior Cervical Oblique, Flexion/Extension, and Swimmer’s Lateral.

Format: Online learning with audio visual presentation and handout materials.
